Unfortunately -- counter to your statement "I cannot imagine anyone leaving the theatre saying that they truly disliked it" -- not only did we leave saying preciesly that, this became the first play ever that I left at intermission and did not return. I can't blame the acting for that, however, as no one could have made that script worth sitting through. No one speaks purely in bad, backwoods colloquialisms. However, I do applaud that set, it was amazing. I just feel it was wasted -- as were some of the actors -- on this horrible script.
