Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre announces open call auditions will take place in October for roles in several of its 2018 Season productions, and the final show in 2017.

Roles available for several 2018 Season productions

Open call auditions will take place on October 16 at Beef & Boards, 9301 Michigan Rd., Indianapolis, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., with a dance callback at approximately 6:30 p.m. Do not attend the callback unless asked.

Those auditioning should prepare 16-24 bars of two contrasting vocal selections, with sheet music in the correct key (an accompanist will be provided), and be prepared to deliver a monologue or read from a side, if asked. Auditioners need to bring a recent 8 x 10 photo and updated resume, and should dress in appropriate clothing

Availability is required for all rehearsals and all performances

Roles are available in:

A Beef & Boards Christmas 2017 – Rehearsals start Nov. 10. Show dates are Nov. 25 – Dec. 23.

Mamma Mia! – Rehearsals start Jan. 20. Show dates are Feb. 1 – April 8.

Singin’ in the Rain – Rehearsals start March 31. Show dates are April 12 –May 26.

Annie – Rehearsals start May 19. Show dates are May 31 – July 15.

Pyramid Players production of Cinderella – Rehearsals start Feb. 9. Show dates are Fridays and Saturdays Feb. 17 – March 17.

A detailed rehearsal schedule will be distributed no less than two weeks prior to the start of rehearsal. Regardless of the schedule, all cast members are expected to be available during regular rehearsal hours.
