Lisa Dillman’s play parallels two stories: one covers a series of three incarcerations of women in mental asylums dating from 1886, 1920’s and the late 1930’s while the other story features Carrie (Lacy Katherine Campbell) who is researching women in asylums.

This well sung show was highlighted by the strong vocals form Eric Lindahl and Tom McGunn. For me the dancers made this show a treat. Kevin Bellie gets the pop/rock score to move with energy

This weird play is told from the perspective of the couple and their xenophobic victims. We’re never sure what happens during the two day journey.

The cast manically works the material and the audience to get everyone to have a good time. This is a nice date show. The cast is getting valuable experience trying to make tough material funny.

Once On This Island is a classic fairy tale about Ti Moune (Melanie Brezill), a poor peasant girl who falls in love with an upper-class gentleman named Daniel (Sean Walton).
