Macbeth at The Convervatory

Odd’s Bodkins and Corn Productions are proud to present their First Annual production of William Shakespeare’s Macbeth. Directed by Susie Matthews, this production is set in 1920s Baton Rouge. In a Southern Gothic world of fading plantation aristocracy and voodoo magic, the Macbeths seek an answer to the timeless question of how freetheir free will really is.

Odd’s Bodkins announces the following performance dates for Macbeth:

Saturday, October 7th, Sunday, October 8th;

Saturday, October 14th, Sunday, October 15th;

Saturday, October 21st, Sunday, October 22nd;

Saturday, October 28th, Sunday, October 29th

All performances at 2 PM at the Cornservatory Theatre, 4210 N Lincoln Ave, Chicago IL 60618.

Tickets are $20 for adults, and $5 for students.

Odd’s Bodkins Shakespeare Ensemble is a burgeoning, independent classical theatre company on Chicago’s north side, composed of actors from different backgrounds with a passion for Shakespeare. Odd’s Bodkins produces classic plays with unconventional casts and staging that raises up the voices of those normally outside the mainstream of theater culture, and brings a love of Shakespeare to the next generation through workshops and free school performances.
